Harness the Power of Dividend-Producing Stocks

The AIG Focused Dividend Strategy Fund may provide a powerful solution for investors seeking current income. The Fund invests in large-cap value stocks, combining dividend income with long-term growth potential.

As corporate earnings increase, these high-quality dividend-paying stocks may benefit from stronger balance sheets, improving the opportunity for long-term growth. In addition, because of their consistent income stream, dividend-producing stocks have the potential to be more stable during periods of heightened market volatility.

A Unique Rules-Based Process

The Fund’s process for selecting dividend-paying stocks is unique and one of the key reasons why it has consistently generated strong, long-term results.

The Fund invests in a concentrated portfolio of 30 stocks: The 10 highest-yielding stocks in the Dow Jones Industrial Average, plus  20 stocks from the Russell 1000 Index based on proprietary metrics combining valuation, profitability and dividend yield.

The 30 stocks undergo an annual reconstitution. This process helps to minimize portfolio turnover and enhance tax efficiency.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is the most widely used indicator of the overall condition of the stock market, a price-weighted average of 30 actively traded blue chip stocks, primarily industrials.

The Fund employs a Disciplined Strategy and will not deviate from its strategy (except to the extent necessary to comply with federal tax laws or other applicable laws). Because the Fund will not use certain techniques available to other mutual funds to reduce stock market exposure (e.g., derivatives), the Fund may be more susceptible to general market declines than other mutual funds.
